I’ve always been obsessed with creating since I could fist-grip a crayon (shoutout to my primary school science teacher who saw my potential in arts). At uni, that’s when I traded essays for editing skits! But seriously, I entered the nursing world not knowing I’d still be able to hone my creative skills. After all, nursing is both a science and an art.
A decade ago, I fell hard for both landscape and street photography—think gritty subway portraits and stolen rush hour moments—and later, travel films that felt like postcards from the soul. It was more of a hobby and borderline escapism.
But it was planning my own wedding last year that lit the spark, and it suddenly dawned on me: Why not blend my artist’s eye, documentary grit, and love for raw humanity into films that feel alive?
